Students may accidentally close out a quiz before submitting it. Depending on the timer settings of the quiz, this may prevent them from receiving a grade. In these instances, instructors can submit the quiz attempt on their behalf.
Instructions
- Click on Activities on the Navbar and select Quizzes from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to a quiz and select Grade from the menu.
- Click on the Attempts tab.
- Click Show Search Options.
- Scroll down to Restrict to and select Attempts in Progress.
- Click on the Magnifying Glass icon in the search bar to apply the restriction.
- Scroll down to find the quiz attempt that needs to be submitted on behalf of a student and click the Impersonation icon next to it.
- Click Yes to confirm that you would like to enter the quiz as the selected student.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select Submit Quiz.
- Click Submit Quiz one again to confirm the action.
