Follett Willo is a platform that allows instructors to use the Follett Willo LTI to directly link out to required course materials from Brightspace for easy access. Publishers will send instructors material product tokens that can be used to link electronic materials from Follett Willo to Brightspace. This guide is specific to linking courseware, which refers to materials with an ebook, assignments, grade syncing, and other resources.
Note: Follett Willo assignments, quizzes, and other graded materials automatically sync with your gradebook. To avoid duplicate gradebook items, do not create assignments in Brightspace linking to Follett Willo. Only link to content in modules. Instructions
1. In your course, select Content from the top nav bar.
2. Select your desired content module located below the Table of Contents section on the left side of the screen.
3. In the specified module, select Existing Activities then Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 or Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3. Note: The publisher will provide guidance on which version of Follett Willo (1.1 vs. 1.3) should be used when linking content to a module.
4. An Add Activity window will pop up. Select Continue in a new window. Note: A browser tab will open where you will need to manually pair your publisher-provided product token with your Brightspace course.
5. Select Pair My Course Manually. Note: Follett Willo will auto-pair for materials that do not contain courseware.
6. A Product Course Pairing pop up will appear on the right side of the screen. Enter your product token and click Verify.
7. Confirm your product token.
8. Select the materials that you would like to link to your module by checking the box(es) to the left of the materials descriptions. After selecting your course materials, select Return link(s) to LMS.
9. The screen will display a successful message once the title has been linked. Click Close Window.
10. Upon returning to Brightspace, the linked material will show up in the corresponding module.
